Terms of Service

These Terms of Service (the “Terms”) govern your use of Indicia (the web app at indiciagame.com and the mobile apps for iOS and Android, together the “Service”), operated by Indicia. By creating an account, playing as a guest or using the Service in any way, you accept these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

1. The service

Indicia is a logic-deduction game: you place suspects on a grid using clues to deduce who stole the jewel. We offer campaign levels, a daily case, achievements, leaderboards and optional Premium features. We may add, modify or discontinue parts of the Service at any time.

2. Eligibility and age

To use the Service you must be at least the minimum age required by the laws of your country to accept these Terms and to consent to the processing of your data. If you are a minor, you need the consent of your parent or guardian. The Service is not directed to children under 13.

3. Your account

You can play as a guest with limited features or create an account (with Apple, Google or email) to sync your progress across devices. You are responsible for the activity on your account and for keeping your login information secure. You can delete your account at any time from the app or at indiciagame.com/legal/eliminar-cuenta.

4. Conduct

• Do not cheat, automate or manipulate the game, the leaderboards or the achievements.
• Do not attempt to access systems, accounts or data without authorization.
• Do not use the Service for unlawful purposes or in ways that harm other users.
• Do not copy, modify or reverse-engineer the Service except where the law allows it.

5. Free plan and advertising

The free plan includes a daily level limit and advertising. On the mobile apps we use Google AdMob; on the web we show Google AdSense ads to free-plan users (you can disable its cookies by choosing “Essential only” in the cookie notice). You can earn extra attempts or hints by watching optional (rewarded) ads in the mobile app.

6. Premium subscriptions and purchases

Indicia Premium removes advertising, unlocks unlimited levels, lets you save and resume your games, play offline (mobile app only) and grants 15 hints per month. It is offered as:

• Auto-renewing subscriptions: 1-, 3-, 6- and 12-month plans. The price of each plan is shown inside the app before purchase, in your local currency.
• “Lifetime” purchase: a single, non-recurring payment that grants permanent access.

Renewal: subscriptions renew automatically for the same period and price unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. The renewal charge is made within the 24 hours before the end of the period.

Management and cancellation: on iOS/iPadOS you manage and cancel your subscription in your Apple ID settings (App Store → Subscriptions); on Android in Google Play → Subscriptions; and purchases made on the web from your account at indiciagame.com. Cancellation stops future renewal but does not generate a refund of the period already paid, unless applicable law requires it.

Payments: in-app purchases are processed through Apple's App Store or Google Play; web purchases through our payment providers. Prices may change; we will notify you in advance where the law requires it, and changes do not affect the period already paid.

iOS — EULA: use of the app on Apple devices is additionally subject to Apple's standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement, available at apple.com/legal/internet-services/itunes/dev/stdeula.

7. Hints and virtual items

Hints and other in-game items are limited licenses to use within the Service; they have no monetary value, are not transferable or redeemable for money, and may expire or be modified. The hint balance is managed on our servers as the single source of truth.

8. Intellectual property

The game, its brand, illustrations, code, text and other content are the property of Indicia and are protected by law. We grant you a personal, limited, revocable and non-transferable license to use the Service. You may not copy, distribute or exploit it without permission.

9. Availability and warranties

The Service is provided “as is” and “as available”. To the extent permitted by law, we do not warrant that it will be uninterrupted or error-free.

10. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or incidental damages, or for the loss of data arising from the use of or inability to use the Service.

11. Termination

You may stop using the Service and delete your account whenever you want. We may suspend or terminate your access if you breach these Terms or to protect the Service and other users.

12. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Argentine Republic, without prejudice to the rights you may have as a consumer in your country of residence.

13. Changes

We may update these Terms. If the changes are material, we will notify you within the Service. Continued use constitutes acceptance of the Terms in force.
