Privacy Policy

We respect your privacy and collect only the minimum necessary for the game to work. This policy explains what data we process, for what purpose, with whom we share it and what rights you have. It applies to the indiciagame.com website and to the Indicia mobile apps.

What we collect

• Account: email address and display name, through our authentication provider. If you play as a guest, we generate an anonymous identifier with no email.
• Game progress: solved levels, times, hints used, streaks, achievements, stars and games in progress.
• Purchases: the status of your subscription or purchase (plan, validity, platform). Payment is processed by Apple, Google or our web providers; we do not receive or store your card details.
• Technical data: device type, operating system and platform (web, iOS or Android), app version, language and diagnostic data to fix errors.
• Connection data: IP address and approximate location (country and city, derived from the IP), a device identifier and the date of your last access. We use them for security, fraud prevention, support and aggregate usage statistics.
• Advertising (free plan): to show ads, our providers may process an advertising identifier and usage data. On the mobile app we use Google AdMob; on iOS we ask for your permission through Apple's App Tracking Transparency (ATT) before any tracking (you can decline and keep playing). On the web we use Google AdSense, which uses cookies to serve and measure ads; they only load if you accept advertising cookies in the cookie notice.
• Achievements and leaderboards (optional): if you use Game Center (iOS) or Google Play Games (Android), your progress is reflected in those platforms according to their own policies.

How we use it

To create your account, save and sync your progress, achievements and games across devices, manage subscriptions and purchases, show advertising on the app's free plan, prevent fraud and abuse, provide support and improve the game.

Who we share it with (providers)

We use trusted providers that process data on our behalf, each only for its function:

• Clerk — authentication and account management.
• Neon — database (progress, account, entitlements).
• RevenueCat — management of in-app subscriptions and purchases.
• Google AdMob / AdSense — advertising in the mobile app and on the web (free plan).
• Meta (Facebook) — attribution for our install campaigns in the mobile app: advertising identifier (only if you allow it) and usage events, such as having solved a case.
• Sentry — error diagnostics and stability.
• Cloudflare — image storage and delivery.
• Apple Game Center / Google Play Games — achievements and leaderboards (if you use them).
• Apple App Store, Google Play and web payment providers — payment processing.

We do not sell your personal data.

International transfers

Some providers process data outside your country. In those cases we apply the safeguards required by applicable law to protect your information.

Your rights

You can access, correct or delete your data and request the closure of your account. You can delete your account from the app or at indiciagame.com/legal/eliminar-cuenta. When you delete your account we erase the associated personal information, except what we must keep by law.

Retention

We keep your data while your account is active or as required by law.

Minors

The Service is not directed to children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect their data. If we detect a minor's account without the corresponding consent, we will delete it.

Changes

If we update this policy, we will reflect it on this page with a new date.
